01. How do I submit my story?
Email your complete, ready-to-review article (no outlines or scripts) to .doc, .docx, or .txt) and 5–12 images you have rights to use. Optionally attach a clean voice recording (WAV/MP3) if you’d like an embedded audio version.
02. What happens after I email my submission?
Our editors conduct a thorough review for authenticity, quality, and fit. We will contact you by email to confirm whether your article is accepted or declined. If revisions are needed, we’ll share focused feedback.
03. Is publishing guaranteed?
No. Publication is free but editorially curated. We may decline submissions that are promotional, low-quality, misleading, AI-generated without disclosure, or otherwise misaligned with our values and audience.
04. Are there any specifications for the text and images?
Text: clear, original, fact-checked; submit in .doc, .docx, or .txt. Images: .jpg/.png, minimum 1290×730 px (larger preferred), up to ~10 MB each; include captions and photographer credit; label any AI-generated visuals. You must own or have licensed all assets.
05. When will my article be published if accepted?
After acceptance, we’ll share a private draft link for your review. Upon your approval, we schedule publication on the earliest suitable date in our editorial calendar and publish on travelinspirationmag.com.
06. Can I include links?
Yes—each published piece includes an author bio with one portfolio link (tagged rel="ugc") and up to two social profiles. We do not allow commercial, affiliate, or sponsored links in the body text of free contributions.
07. What does “SEO-friendly” posting mean here?
We use semantic headings, clean URLs, descriptive meta, internal linking where relevant, and appropriate schema (e.g., Article, ImageObject, PodcastEpisode when applicable). We optimize for readers first, search second.
08. Can my article include an audio version?
Optionally, yes. If you attach a clean voice recording that matches your text, we can embed it after editorial review and light audio polish. If not, we may produce a narrated version at our discretion.
09. Can I request changes after publication?
Yes. You can request up to two minor updates per article (e.g., factual correction, updated link in bio) free of charge. Substantive rewrites, image swaps, or re-layouts may be treated as a new editorial request.
10. What content is not accepted?
We do not accept promotional/advertorial material, affiliate-driven posts, discriminatory or offensive content, undisclosed AI-generated text or images, politically or religiously persuasive pieces, or anything that violates copyright or privacy.
11. Do you charge fees or pay for guest contributions?
No fees and no payments for this free contributor program. From time to time, our editors commission separate paid features — these are by invitation and follow a different process.
