You probably don't know me. And, let's be honest, you don't have much reason to care who I am. At least not yet.
I'm not usually impressed by a stranger just because they've decided to tell me about themselves, either. Especially when they start with a long list of professional accomplishments, followed by the assurance that their life is exceptionally interesting.
So I'll spare you the formal introduction. Or at least most of it.
My name is Yordan, but here you'll know me by my pen name, Dany B. Bold. It's the name I plan to use for my travel stories and books. And this little corner of Travel Inspiration Magazine will be where we can catch up in between.

Something I Learned from a Fox
You might remember the fox from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's "The Little Prince."
I've always been drawn to the idea that two strangers can gradually become important to one another. Not because of some remarkable first conversation, but because of the time, attention, and little things they begin to share.
Of course, I'm not about to suggest that we should become close friends after our very first encounter.
But I'd be happy if you stopped by now and then, read one of my stories, and thought to yourself, "I wonder what this guy will have to say next."
For a start, that sounds pretty good to me.
A Rather Practical Man with Some Not-So-Practical Dreams
My professional world revolves around business, technology, and digital transformation. I have a doctorate and a genuine enthusiasm for analyzing things, asking questions, solving problems, and occasionally searching for logic where there probably isn't any.
Sounds almost romantic, doesn't it?
Fortunately, I have other interests outside my professional life.
One of my passions is traveling. I love old streets, places with character, conversations that begin entirely by chance, and those moments when time somehow seems to matter a little less.

Why Did I Decide to Start Writing?
For some time now, I've been developing the idea for Travel Inspiration Guide, a series of short travel guides that combine practical information, personal observations, and inspiration to explore. I'm also trying to fill them with good humor, personal memories, and a little room for imagination.
I've never been a fan of travel guides that read like endless catalogs of tourist attractions. I want my books to be enjoyable to read and engaging enough to make you put one down for a moment and daydream about your next adventure.
But while working on this idea, I realized something else.
Not everything I want to share belongs in the pages of a travel guide.
There are memories, reflections, little stories, and perfectly ordinary moments that deserve a place of their own.
And that's how the idea for Dany B. Bold's Travel Journal came about.
So, Where Do We Go from Here?
I'll try to come back here every week with something new.
Sometimes I'll tell you about places I've visited. Other times, it'll be about people, encounters, or impressions that have stayed with me longer than I expected. I'll also share how the books are coming along, and every now and then, I'll probably wander off on a personal tangent.
I can't promise I'll always be serious. In fact, I hope I won't be.
And I certainly can't promise we'll always agree. The best conversations rarely depend on that.
I write the way I'd talk to someone I'd enjoy sitting down with over coffee. No unnecessary formalities, no pretending to be someone I'm not, just a healthy dose of curiosity about the world.
And if one of my stories makes you smile, then it was worth telling.
Maybe next time, we won't be complete strangers anymore.
